There are a number of ways the GB and Empire Stamps site can be searched to find the items you are looking for.

1. USING KEY WORDS
From the home page you can enter a key word or words e.g  "black", "missing phosphor" "SG ???" . The search function will identify any listed item that includes these keywords either in the item title or item description.

If on Home Page and search term placed in "search box" it will search whole site. 

If one first selects a category from the "choose category" box just to left of search box and then enter search term it will search just that category.

If one selects a specific store and then enter a search term it will search only listings in that store.

2. CHECKING RECENTLY LISTED ITEMS
From the home page click on "recently listed" this brings up the list of items in order of most recent listing. Scroll down to bottom and click "view all". The option is also at bottom of page to view up to 80 items per page.

3. SEARCHING USING COMPREHENSIVE CATEGORY LISTING.
This is probably the most useful and informative search facility.

From home page click on "buy" link at top right. This reveals the comprehensive specialised category listing and details the number of items in each section.

FAVOURITE SELLERS

Those who have registered an account and are logged in to site when visiting/browsing (it will not work if visiting as a "guest") and click on any store will see a link appear in top right corner of store home page "ADD TO FAVOURITES". 

If this link is activated this designates the store holder as one of your favourites. Once a seller is one of your favourites you will receive an email notification every time they list a new item. 

With some high volume sellers this may generated multiple email notifications. This facility can be closed by revisting the link.
